Manutenzione Winch:
I winch devono essere lavati frequentemente con acqua dolce, e comunque dopo ogni utilizzo. Pulire la campana in acciaio inox con i prodotti Harken: Stainless Steel Cleaner BK 4522 e il Winch Polish for all metal surface BK 4520

ATTENZIONE :
• assicurarsi che i fori di drenaggio posti nella base del winch non siano ostruiti, onde evitare la stagnazione dell’acqua nella base del winch.
• evitare il contatto dei prodotti per la pulizia del teak e di altre sostanze pulenti contenenti soluzioni caustiche con i winch e in particolare con i componenti anodizzati, cromati e plastici dei winch
• Non sostituire né modificare nessun componente del winch con un altro che non sia originale.
• I winch devono essere ispezionati visivamente all’inizio e alla fine di ogni stagione di navigazione/regate.
• Inoltre essi devono essere interamente revisionati, puliti e lubrificati almeno ogni 12 mesi.”

PERICOLO: La manutenzione periodica deve essere effettuata regolarmente. La mancanza di un’adeguata manutenzione riduce il ciclo di vita del winch, può provocare gravi incidenti oltre a rendere non applicabile la garanzia del winch stesso.”

Tips for the Harken winches manteinance

Winches must be washed frequently with fresh water, and in any case after each period of use. Clean the stainless steel drum with these Harken products: Stainless Steel Cleaner BK 4522 and Winch Polish for all metal surface BK 4520

WARNING :
• Make sure that the drainage holes in the base of the winch are not obstructed so as to avoid water accumulating in the winch base.
• Do not allow products for cleaning teak or other cleaning substances containing caustic solutions to come into contact with winches, and especially with anodised, chrome or plastic winch components.
• Do not modify or replace any winch component with one that is not original.
• Winches must be visually inspected at the beginning and end of every sailing/racing season. They must also undergo complete maintenance, cleaning and lubrication at least every 12 months.

DANGER: Periodic maintenance must be carried out regularly. Lack of adequate maintenance shortens the life cycle of the winch, may cause serious accidents and also invalidate the warranty on the winch.
