Mercoledì 11 giugno durante la tappa lunga della Giraglia Rolex Cup, è occorso un importante incidente allo Sly 47 “See you later”.
Dopo i fondamentali accertamenti volti ad assicurare l’indennità dell’equipaggio, l’armatore e il Cantiere hanno immediatamente iniziato a collaborare nel desiderio di chiarire la causa che ha provocato il distacco della chiglia. Probabilmente un impatto con un corpo sommerso.

Il Cantiere, che sottolinea come il coefficiente di sicurezza adottato nel progetto e nella costruzione sia di gran lunga superiore sia ai massimi sforzi ipotizzati nell’uso dell’imbarcazione sia a quanto richiesto dalle normative vigenti, desidera anche in questa vicenda confermare la propria ferma presenza accanto all’armatore, nonché la costante volontà e l’interesse prioritario per la sicurezza della propria produzione.

Wednesday 11th of June during the long leg of the Giraglia Rolex Cup, a serious accident occurred to Sly 47 “See you later”.
After the primary controls to ensure the crew’s safety, the owner and the Yard immediately started cooperating, wishing to clear up what caused the separation of the keel, probably an impact with a submerged object.
The Yard underlines that the safety coefficient adopted in the project and in the construction is considerably higher than the maximum stress meant to be used by the boat and required by the law in force.
